Creating a comprehensive brand guide takes so much planning and effort. Our team sat down with the company owner and our project advisor to collaborate and came up with a plan that worked for our client. The images are just a few of my favorite pieces of the project.
Flip through our finalized guide!
The Grease Garage Design Team was awarded the Erin Kvedar Seminar Design Excellence award for this project.
A project this vast creates a minefield of challenges, which result in many rejected ideas and designs. But to reduce the number of renditions we would need to make, we put together two plans to present to our client and project advisor with different colors, personas, aesthetic themes, and models. This way, we could narrow in on what the business owner and their clients may gravitate toward.
Once we got a clear direction on the client's preferences, we could move forward on creating the process guide. We still went through multiple renditions of everything, which made our final product spot on. All of our designs can be seen in our virtual process guide above, but here are some of our first attempts at logos, patterns, ads, and business structure.
